This application transforms your device into a functional Magnetic Strength Meter (DC Gauss Meter), enabling precise assessment of residual magnetism in ferromagnetic objects.

Residual magnetic fields may develop in steel or iron components following exposure to magnetic influences, electrical currents, or mechanical friction. This tool offers a rapid and accurate method to detect such magnetization.

To use, simply position the device edge in proximity to or against the object under examination. The app provides a magnetic reading at that point, including polarity information. It can also aid in evaluating the effectiveness of de-magnetization processes.

This functionality is applicable for examining common metallic items such as automotive parts, furniture frames, or household fixtures—essentially any metal object within your environment. Additionally, it serves as a useful means to verify magnet strength.
